LifeTime Warranty

Yoolax provides a limited warranty* to the original residential retail purchaser who purchases from our authorized sales platforms. This warranty covers manufacturing defects, including material flaws or workmanship issues that impair the product's functionality, as long as the product has been installed and used according to instructions.

Motors for indoor window shades come with a free 3-year warranty, which can be extended up to 5 years. Defective parts will be repaired or replaced at no cost, as necessary.Even after the warranty period, we continue to offer technical support for your product. At Yoolax, we're always here to assist you.

*Note: 2 years for fabric, slats, vanes,brackets and components; 3 years for motorization systems. See below for more warranty coverage details.

What is covered

The product is covered by a limited lifetime warranty under the following conditions:
Shipping damage, provided it is reported within 30 calendar days of receiving the product.
Manufacturing or workmanship defects related to fabrics, motorization systems, or accessories, provided the product was properly installed and used in accordance with the manual.

Shipping damage

If the product is damaged during shipment, please take photos of the package and contact us within 30 calendar days of receiving the product. At our discretion, we will either replace the damaged product or repair it for free to ensure it remains in proper working condition.

Note: Please do not discard the packaging until you receive further instructions from us.

Manufacturing and workmanship defects

If the product is found to have a manufacturing defect in materials, we will, at our discretion, take one of the following actions during the warranty period:

  • Repair the product (free of charge)
  • Replace the product (free of charge)
  • Refund the purchase price of the product

Parts:

  • Motorization Systems: 3 years
  • Fabric, Slats and Vanes: 2 years
  • Brackets& Components: 2 years

1. Motorization systems include, but are not limited to, the motor and remote.
2. The warranty for fabric, slats, and vanes covers issues such as fabric tears, separation of fabric from slats or vanes, slat warping, and broken or cracked vertical vanes on receiving the product.
3. Brackets and components include, but are not limited to, mounting brackets, valances, and bottom rods.

Additional Notes

  • Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase is required to claim the warranty.
  • Product Discontinuation: If parts need to be replaced for a discontinued product during the warranty period, we cannot guarantee the availability of identical parts. In such cases, compatible replacements will be provided to ensure the continued functionality of the blind. (limited to defective parts only).
  • Associated Costs: After the warranty ends, customers may be charged for replacement parts and shipping. However, Yoolax remains committed to providing free technical support for as long as you need it. We're here to help!

What is not covered

The standard warranty does not apply to the following situations:

Natural Wear and Tear

  • Plastic parts may yellow or crack over time
  • Fabrics, slats, and vanes may naturally change color over time.
  • Natural materials (including but not limited to wood, bamboo, and reeds) may show variations in color, grain, or texture.
  • Wood slats may warp or crack in areas with high humidity and/or high heat.

*Accelerated aging test results of shade materials based on Yoolax's laboratory testing.

Inappropriate Use

  • Improper installation, operation, or cleaning
  • Abuse, Misuse, Alterations
  • User modifications
  • Exposure to salt air
  • Extraordinary use

Conceivable accidents

  • Damage from children, pets or insects
  • Natural disasters

Yoolax® Extended Motor Warranty for Custom Indoor Blinds and Shades

In addition to the Yoolax Standard Warranty, we offer an extended warranty for the motors of indoor shading products.

  • Extend to 4 Years: $63
  • Extend to 5 Years: $79

Notes:

  • When purchasing multiple products, only the motor of the product with the extended warranty will be covered. To extend the warranty for all motors, please purchase this service separately for each product.
  • If the original motor for the blind is no longer available, we will either repair it or replace it with a compatible alternative to ensure the blind retains its intended functionality.

*Yoolax reserves the right to modify the policy and has the final interpretation of it. The warranty will take effect from the date of your purchase.
